Does your heart beat with creativity? Today I'm chatting to Kat Molesworth, the director and co founder of Blogtacular. She shares her thoughts on developing Blogtacular, an inspirational event that has become an important part of my 'An Inspirational 2015' challenge.
Kat offers insight into blogging as a creative process, trends and changing in the blogging world and thoughts on slowing down our blogging process in a way that supports our creative voice on the internet as crafters and makers.
Kat's Tips for developing your creative blog:
1. Write something everyday- even if you don't post and publish it, creativity thrives on practical and indulging it. Practice!
2. Practice sharing images- Look for beauty in what you're doing and use it to connect with an audience. Instagram is a great tool for this.
3. Surround yourself with creative people- Listen to talks, connect online and go to meetups with other creatives to help fuel your ideas.
4. Take creativity from unexpected places- Look for inspiration from a broad spectrum to take back home to your own personal blog. It's good to hear creative ideas from new to you sources.
